Come join us for an elegant evening in support of Clinica Latina and Equality Clinic's future home!
We're excited to be hosting a resource fair for the LGBT community during Come Out for Health week. The Resource fair will take place in the lobby of the Health Sciences building from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday night. The Equality Clinic will be operating at its normal time and place, and open to all those who need compassionate and inclusive care. The clinic will not be open for tours that evening and we ask that you please respect the privacy of our patient by remaining in the lobby unless you are a patient or potential patient.
Organizations attending will include GRU Equality, Equality Clinic, Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta, Wake-up trans support group, Hawk Law Group, Lambda Alliance, Public Health, MCC, Safe Zone, South Carolina Pride/PFLAG Aiken, GA Equality, TransLove Fund, Augusta Pride, Ryan White van, and the Georgia Health Initiative!
Starting on Monday, March 23 and going until Friday, March 27, GRU Equality will be teaming up with a number of organizations including Equality Clinic for 2015 Come Out for Health Week. We have so many wonderful events, and we encourage everyone to participate. More information on CO4H's Facebook page.
Our partner clinic, Clinica Latina, is hosting a gala to sponsor a completely new clinic space. Though this is a longterm goal, the Equality Clinic will also occupy this space, and we are so excited to help support our colleagues. If you would like to attend, tickets are $50, and bring your salsa shoes!

We're excited about our first monthly clinic!
Clinics will be the second Wednesday of every month hereafter.
Students from the medical, nursing, and physician assistant programs have teamed up to open two interdisciplinary clinics to meet the needs of underserved populations in the CSRA. The Latin Clinic and Equality Clinic will both open next month to provide culturally-competent, interdisciplinary care to underinsured members of both the Hispanic and LGBTQ communities in Augusta.
Please join us to learn more about our clinic mission as well as tour the clinic space!
Dinner will be provided by Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant and all proceeds will benefit both clinics.
$10 per plate, $5 with GRU student ID
